Companion Tickets

When you book a paid ticket on an Air New Zealand operated international flight, you can use your Airpoints Dollars™ to take a companion with you at a special reduced rate by buying them a Companion ticket*.

Refer to our Companion Ticket Charts for details. 

You can request a companion ticket up to 355 days in advance, but remember to book your own paid ticket first. Availability is limited, so make sure you book early. To make your companion ticket booking, contact your nearest Airpoints Service Centre. Applicable service fees apply.

Please note: Companion tickets are not available in conjunction with Smart Saver fares, Airpoints award tickets, travel industry fares, prize/promotion tickets and upgrades.
